UTSA pounded out 16 hits on the way to beating UT-Arlington 14-1 Friday in the Roadrunners’ first home game of the season.

UTSA starting pitcher Luke Malone went seven innings and allowed one run on four hits with six strikeouts and no walks to get the win.

Roadrunners leadoff batter Griffin Paxton led the offense with three hits, three RBIs and two runs.
