UTSA beat North Texas 66-64 in American Conference women’s basketball on Wednesday at the Convocation Center.

Cheyenne Rowe led UTSA with 27 points and 11 rebounds, Damara Allen hit the go-ahead shot with 13 seconds left and Idara Udo returned from an injury that kept her out for more than a month.

UTSA women’s tennis opens spring with win over St. Mary’s

UTSA beat St. Mary’s 5-2 in women’s tennis on Thursday at the UTSA Tennis Center.

It was the Roadrunners’ spring home opener.

UTSA took the first point of the team match by sweeping three doubles sets. UTSA got wins at No. 2 singles by Celine Absawi, No. 4 singles by Giuliana Giardina, No. 5 singles by Aoka Nagasawa and No. 6 singles by Laia Tarazona Peyro.
