The Tigers were playing at home against Dallas Bapist. Trinity’s men’s team won 9-0. Trinity’s women won 8-1.
The sophomore second baseman from Katy, Texas, put Trinity back in front after Mary Hardin-Baylor tied it 3-3 with two runs in the top of the seventh.
Trinity, ranked 19th, won its 11th game in a row to run its record to 21-7.

Brown, a sophomore guard from San Antonio, finished with 14 points. Jacob Harvey, a freshman guard from Huffman, Texas, scored 14 points off the bench.
Junior third baseman Jack Wisniewski hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to win the game.
Holland, a forward from Georgetown, Texas, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball player of the week.
