UTSA relief pitcher Meredith Schmitt went the final 4 1/3 innings and allowed one run to earn the win.
Sabrina Wick had UTSA’s first hit of the season with a single in the bottom of the first inning. Wick also scored UTSA’s first run of the season in the bottom of the third.
Katia Reyes scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning after Kalee Rochinski singled and Weber State made an error.

UTSA center fielder and leadoff batter Madi Hays scored the Roadrunners’ run. Camryn Robillard and Kyle Forney had UTSA’s only hits. UTSA starter Jamie Gilbert pitched a complete game and allowed one earned run and five hits in seven innings.
Baylor center fielder Ashly Wachtendorf had two hits and drove in both of the Bears’ runs. Kaci West pitched the first four innings for Baylor. RyLee Crandall pitched the final three innings and earned the win.

Madison Washington hit a two-run homer in the third inning for the Roadrunners’ first runs of the game. Riley Grunberg hit a solo shot in the fourth inning.
UTSA right-hander Clarissa Hernandez pitched a complete game for the win.
The Roadrunners have hit 29 home runs in their first 23 games of the season. The victory raised UTSA’s record to 14-9.
