UTSA softball knocks off A&M-Corpus Christi

UTSA pounded out six runs in the third inning to beat A&M-Corpus Christi 8-2 on Tuesday at Roadrunner Field.

Madison Lenton had a three-run double and Camryn Robillard hit her second home run of the season during UTSA’s third-inning rally.

UTSA starting pitcher Ava Eldridge went five innings and allowed one run on three hits.

The Roadrunners are back at home on Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Tarleton.

UTSA has a three-game home American Athletic Conference series against Tulsa beginning on Friday.
