UTSA coach Derek Pittman and Texas State coach Steve Holeman got together on the field to show off the trophies their respective teams won last season.
Then the game started … and it was rivalry time.
The Roadrunners and Bobcats, whose sports teams have been squaring off for 45 years, played to a hard fought and sometimes rough 2-2 tie on Wednesday at UTSA Park West.
