UTSA scored 14 runs in the fifth inning and run-ruled Incarnate Word 22-10 in seven innings on Tuesday at Roadrunner Field.

Lane Haworth homered twice for UTSA and Josh Arquette and Cade Sadler also homered.

Incarnate Word got two home runs from Cole Tabor and one each from Colin Cymbalista and Jake Weaver.

UTSA baseball takes series with South Florida: photo gallery

UTSA won two of three games in a weekend American Conference baseball series with South Florida.

The Roadrunners won the opener on Friday 11-3.

Due to weather concerns, the second and third games were played as a doubleheader on Saturday. UTSA won the first game of the doubleheader 7-3. South Florida won the final game of the series 7-1.

UTSA is 25-11 on the season and 8-4 in conference.

The Roadrunners play again Tuesday in a nonconference road game against Baylor. UTSA is back home for a three-game conference series against Charlotte on Friday through Sunday.
