Maggie Shipley, Mollee Priddy help Trinity women stay unbeaten in SCAC

Trinity hit 10-of-28 from 3-point range and rolled to a 91-48 victory over University of Dallas on Wednesday at Calgaard Gym.

Trinity is 3-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play and 10-2 on the season.

Maggie Shiple led the Tigers with 26 points and four assists. Mollee Priddee hit four 3-pointers in the first half and finished with 17 points.

Maggie Robbins had 12 points and Carly Leong had 11.

Junior forward Enzo Sechi had 15 points and junior guard Kaleb Jenkins had 11 as the Trinity men’s basketball team beat the University of Dallas 74-65 on Tuesday at Calgaard Gymnasium in San Antonio.

Trinity improved to 11-2 on the season and 3-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The Trinity women’s basketball team beat Worcester State 76-69 on Wednesday at Calgaard Gymnasium in San Antonio. It was the first home game of the season for the Tigers (7-2 overall).

Hailey Coleman, a senior center, had a double-double for Trinity with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Sophomore guard Ava Limonciello had 17 points and sophomore guard Maggie Robbins had 10 points.

Trinity plays at home again Thursday at 3 p.m. against LeTourneau.

AJ Clark had 18 points and 6 rebounds, Ben Hanley had 15 points and Kaleb Jenkins had 10 points and 3 steals for the Tigers.

Trinity is 10-2 on the season. The Tigers play their next game on the road on Dec. 30 at Incarnate Word.

Enzo Sechi, a junior forward from Houston, led the Tigers with 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

Brown, a sophomore guard from San Antonio, finished with 14 points. Jacob Harvey, a freshman guard from Huffman, Texas, scored 14 points off the bench.

Junior third baseman Jack Wisniewski hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to win the game.

Trinity senior Abby Holland scored 20 points on Friday as the Tigers beat Texas Lutheran 82-57.

Holland, a forward from Georgetown, Texas, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball player of the week.

Ben Hanley scored 18 points and Luke Stuart had 16 as Trinity beat Texas Lutheran 87-79 in men’s basketball on Friday at Trinity.

Ben Canady had 12 points for the Tigers. Stephen Molina led the Trinity bench with 10 points.

Sebastian Andrade led TLU with 18 points, Caleb Lister had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Jorden Kite had 15 points.

The Trinity men’s basketball team beat Howard Payne 90-78 on Monday night at Trinity.

Stephen Molina led Trinity 21 points, Jordan Lippman had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Jack Williams had 14 points and Ben Hanley had 11 points.

It was the first win of the season for the Tigers (1-3).

Luke Cox led Howard Payne (1-3) with 15 points.

Trinity soccer coach Paul McGinlay earned his 500th career victory Friday night when the men’s team beat Texas Lutheran 4-0 at Trinity.

McGinlay was hired at Trinity in 1991. He coached the Tigers to the 2003 NCAA Division III national championship. In 2011, Trinity renamed its home field Paul McGinlay Soccer Field.
