A wave of future Los Angeles Dodgers stars came through San Antonio from 1977 to 2000 when the organization’s Double-A farm club played at V.J. Keefe Field.

More future Los Angeles Dodgers are in town this weekend in the form of the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers.

Oklahoma City catcher Will Smith might be one of those who have a future in the big leagues.

Smith is hitting .288 with three home runs in 15 games this season. Last season Smith split time between Double-A and Triple-A and hit .233 with 20 home runs.

OKC continues a five-game series with the Missions tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Wolff Stadium. The series continues Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
