Jackson Wolf earned the win in his third straight start as the San Antonio Missions beat the Wichita Wind Surge 10-4 on Wednesday at Wolff Stadium.
Wolff pitched 6.0 shutout innings and evened his record to 5-5 in 11 starts on the season. The 6-foot-7 lefty held Wichita without a hit through the first five innings before allowing two hits in the sixth. He struck out seven batters and did not give up a walk.
The Missions bats came alive with 14 hits, including Jorge Ona’s third home run of the season.
Michael De La Cruz had three hits, two RBIs and scored three times. Ripken Reyes, Tirso Ornelas, Pedro Castellanos, Juan Fernandez and Ona had two hits each.
