Jalen Battles of the Flying Chanclas

Jalen Battles joined the Flying Chanclas de San Antonio after the Texas Collegiate League season started – playing his first game on July 10.

Battles had a hit, a walk and an RBI in his Chanclas debut, a 7-2 victory over the Round Rock Hairy Men at Wolff Stadium.

Battles is an infielder from Madison High School and University of Arkansas.
