Missions pitcher Donnie Hart called up by Brewers

San Antonio Missions pitcher Donnie Hart was called up by Milwaukee on Friday and made his debut with the Brewers on Friday night.

Hart pitched a scoreless ninth inning in the Brewers’ 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 5-foot-11 left-hander pitched in six games for the Missions in short relief. He recorded 3.0 innings and had a 0-1 record with a 3.00 ERA. He struck out four batters with two walks and gave up five hits.

Hart pitched in the majors the last three seasons with the Baltimore Orioles. He appeared in 93 games, including 51 in 2017 and 20 last season. He had a 3.43 ERA with a 2-0 record and no saves with the Orioles.
