UTSA women’s soccer falls to South Florida in final home match

Roadrunners senior Deja Sandoval, a fifth-year defender, set a school record with 86 career games played.
South Florida’s Madison Schwartzenberger scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over UTSA on Sunday in American Conference women’s soccer action at UTSA Park West.

South Florida held UTSA without a shot on goal. The Bulls had four shots on goal – with UTSA’s Jasmine Kessler making three saves.

UTSA is 6-7-4 overall and 1-4-3 in conference. The Roadrunners close out the regular season on the road Thursday against Rice.
