UTSA’s Connor Kelley, Robert Orloski, Lane Haworth picked in baseball draft

Three UTSA players were selected in the Major League Baseball 2026 amateur draft:

Pitcher Connor Kelley, pitcher Robert Orloski and outfielder Lane Haworth were all taken in the second day of the draft.

– Kelley was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 14th round with the 432nd pick.

– Orloski was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 16th round with the 469th pick.

– Haworth was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 18th round with the 549th pick.

After the draft, Drew Detlefsen signed with the San Diego Padres as an undrafted free agent.
