San Antonio Missions relief pitcher Jacob Barnes earned a win in Tuesday’s 4-3 victory over the Iowa Cubs at Wolff Stadium.

Barnes pitched one inning, holding the Cubs scoreless in the top of the ninth inning. The Missions rallied in the bottom of the ninth to make Barnes the pitcher of record.

The 29-year-old right-hander has seen action for both the Milwaukee Brewers and Triple-A San Antonio this season. He has appeared in 13 games for the Missions, all in relief. He has a 2-0 record and 3.46 ERA in 13 innings. He has been with the Missions since being optioned from the Brewers on June 17.

A member of the Brewers’ 40-man-roster, the 6-foot-2 right-hander has appeared in 18 games in a Milwaukee uniform this season with one start. He has a 1-1 record with a 6.86 ERA in 19 2/3 innings.
