Royse was a junior for UTSA in the 2025 season. He had a 9-5 record on the season in 19 games including 17 starts.
Owens just finished his senior season. He pitched in 21 games including 14 starts and had a 7-2 record with three saves. He finished his four-year UTSA career with a 14-7 record and four saves.
The UTSA baseball program honored its seniors prior to the game of the regular season on Saturday at Roadrunner Field.
Family members joined seniors Mason Lytle, Conor Myles, Norris McClure, Lorenzo Morresi, Jake Cothran, Ty Tilson, Kendall Dove, Andrew Stucky, James Taussig and Braylon Owens.
The redshirt senior is listed at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds and played at University of Houston before coming to UTSA.
Garth played in every game last season for UTSA and made nine starts.
