Tyler Flores has made appearances as a relief pitcher in five of the Flying Chanclas de San Antonio’s first 12 games.

The 6-foot-1 left-hander from Clark High School and A&M-Kingsville has a 1-0 record and a 0.90 ERA in 10.0 innings this summer. He has struck out 11 and allowed five hits and four walks.

In Sunday’s 6-0 victory over the Round Rock Hairy Men at Wolff Stadium, Flores retired all nine batters he faced and struck out four.
