Jamir Simpson led UTSA with 16 points and Austin Nunez, Dorian Hayes and Kaidon Rayfield had 10 points each.
The Roadrunners (1-1) play their next game on the road Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Texas State. UTSA is back at home Nov. 15 against Denver.
