The UTSA women’s basketball team earned its first win of the season in the Roadrunners’ home opener.
UTSA beat Texas State 64-41 on Thursday at the Convocation Center.
Cheyenne Rowe led the Roadrunners with 16 points and eight rebounds, Mia Hammonds had 16 points and Idara Udo had nine points and nine rebounds.
UTSA is 1-2 after opening the season with road losses to Texas Tech and Houston. The Roadrunners play their next game across town on Wednesday against Incarnate Word (UIW).
