Brooklyn Bailey scored UTSA’s only goal off an assist from Shea Ryan in a women’s soccer exhibition against Texas on Wednesday at UTSA Park West.

Jasmine Kessler, Kylie Kissee and Jaelyn Bracamonte took turns at goalkeeper for UTSA as the Roadrunners held the Longhorns to one goal.

UTSA has a second exhibition on the road against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday.

The Roadrunners open the regular season at home on Wednesday, Aug. 12, against Texas State.

UTSA’s Connor Kelley, Robert Orloski, Lane Haworth picked in baseball draft

Three UTSA players were selected in the Major League Baseball 2026 amateur draft:

Pitcher Connor Kelley, pitcher Robert Orloski and outfielder Lane Haworth were all taken in the second day of the draft.

– Kelley was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 14th round with the 432nd pick.

– Orloski was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 16th round with the 469th pick.

– Haworth was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 18th round with the 549th pick.

After the draft, Drew Detlefsen signed with the San Diego Padres as an undrafted free agent.

UTSA scored 14 runs in the fifth inning and run-ruled Incarnate Word 22-10 in seven innings on Tuesday at Roadrunner Field.

Lane Haworth homered twice for UTSA and Josh Arquette and Cade Sadler also homered.

Incarnate Word got two home runs from Cole Tabor and one each from Colin Cymbalista and Jake Weaver.

UTSA baseball takes series with South Florida: photo gallery

UTSA won two of three games in a weekend American Conference baseball series with South Florida.

The Roadrunners won the opener on Friday 11-3.

Due to weather concerns, the second and third games were played as a doubleheader on Saturday. UTSA won the first game of the doubleheader 7-3. South Florida won the final game of the series 7-1.

UTSA is 25-11 on the season and 8-4 in conference.

The Roadrunners play again Tuesday in a nonconference road game against Baylor. UTSA is back home for a three-game conference series against Charlotte on Friday through Sunday.

Idara Udo and Cheyenne Rowe combined for 34 points and 17 rebounds to lead UTSA to a 67-55 victory over Memphis in American Conference women’s basketball on Sunday.

UTSA finished with a 48-28 rebounding advantage. Udo had 18 points and 8 rebounds and Rowe had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Ereauna Hardaway added 11 points and 8 rebounds.

Edyn Battle and Katie Davidson scored 17 points each to lead South Florida to a 69-63 victory over UTSA in American Conference women’s basketball on Saturday at the Convocation Center.

Ereauna Hardaway led UTSA with 17 points and Idara Udo had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

UTSA beat Temple 52-43 in American Conference women’s basketball on Tuesday at the Convocation Center.

The victory gives UTSA a home-and-home sweep of the series. UTSA beat Temple 50-47 in Philadelphia on Jan. 3.

Victoria Flores scored 33 points to lead Rice to a 65-55 American Conference women’s basketball game over UTSA on Saturday at the Convocation Center.

Damara Allen led UTSA with 11 points, Ereauna Hardaway had 10, Cheyenne Rowe had 9 points and 8 rebounds and Adriana Robles had 9 points.
