Prairie View A&M was 9-of-15 from 3-point range for the game and made their first five 3-point attempts in the first half. Gerard Andrus led the Panthers with 20 points.
Jhivvan Jackson led UTSA with 30 points and Keaton Wallace had 11. The Roadrunners fell to 1-6 on the season and 1-1 at home.
Trinity’s Jordan Lippman had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds in Trinity’s victory over Howard Payne.The Trinity men’s basketball team beat Howard Payne 90-78 on Monday night at Trinity.
Stephen Molina led Trinity 21 points, Jordan Lippman had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Jack Williams had 14 points and Ben Hanley had 11 points.
It was the first win of the season for the Tigers (1-3).

Mikayla Woods, a starting guard from Pflugerville Hendrickson, led the Roadrunners with 12 points and 4 assists.
Adryana Quezada, a starting forward from Frisco Lone Star, had 11 points.
Charlene Mass, from Converse Veterans Memorial, came off the bench at guard and had 10 points.
Macy Ray led Incarnate Word with 10 points. Ray is a sophomore guard from Katy Taylor.
The Roadrunners (2-0) play their next game on the road Thursday against Texas. UTSA is back at home next Monday against University of the Southwest.
Incarnate Word (1-1) plays its next game at home on Nov. 19 against Texas A&M International.

Trinity athletic directory Bob King (right) honors soccer coach Paul McGinlay after Friday’s game. – photo by Joe AlexanderTrinity soccer coach Paul McGinlay earned his 500th career victory Friday night when the men’s team beat Texas Lutheran 4-0 at Trinity.
McGinlay was hired at Trinity in 1991. He coached the Tigers to the 2003 NCAA Division III national championship. In 2011, Trinity renamed its home field Paul McGinlay Soccer Field.
